Greeting Mr. Kydonieus:

Sorry I couldn't find a proper contact venue for you, so I 'm trying here. My name is Erik Hollander, one of the producers and director of the upcoming feature-length documentary THE SHARK IS STILL WORKING - THE IMPACT AND LEGACY OF JAWS.
I am writing to inquire if your site would be interested in reviewing our film. My understanding is that you are a fan of the movie, and, as we are strategizing to get buzz going for this grassroots effort (we're going on the film festival circuit this year), we thought you might be interested in having a look.  Funded and made by four fans of the film, with no assistance from a studio or production house, TSISW was able to get exclusive interviews with all the leading lights of JAWS including: Steven Spielberg, Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, John Williams, and just about everyone else still alive, as well as filmmaking luminaries who were inspired by the film: Bryan Singer, M. Night Shyamalan, Eli Roth, Robert Rodriguez, Chris Kentis, Kevin Smith, on and on…

Full of rare stills and never-before-seen footage, Our documentary is an expansive look at the impact that JAWS has had over the past 30 plus years. From pop culture, the film industry, Steven Spielberg's career, shark science, distribution patterns, its die hard fans, etc. Our goal is to provide the ultimate celebration of JAWS and based on the results, we feel confident we've done just that!  Please let me know if you'd like me to send you a screener. I look forward to your response and moreso your review!  Universal has an avid eye on us and the more publications that we're visible in, the better our chances of seeing this thing released for the 35th anniversary of the film - perhaps (hopefully) along with the eventuial BluRay release of Jaws.

Thanks so much for your time and consideration!  We deeply appreciate anything you can do to help! Feel free to check out our website.  http://www.sharkisstillworking.com

Regards, Erik Hollander

Hi, Erik.

Yes, as you gathered, I am a big fan of Jaws.

I'll be happy to review a screener of your documentary, THE SHARK IS STILL WORKING - THE IMPACT AND LEGACY OF JAWS.

Thanks for mentioning that you couldn't find contact info for me. I'll remedy that soon.
